Vue Thao is from Laos and moved to Oregon in 1980 and Stockton, California in 1982. Today, he is a lead model technician for Reliance Dental Designs. In 1997, he entered the dental industry working in dental laboratories as a technician. He quickly realized that his work allowed him to truly make a difference in people’s lives. Seeing patients smile confidently and happily became a driving force in his pursuit of perfection.
Vue truly enjoys the detail-oriented process of crafting appliances for clients, including crowns and implants, and views every case as an opportunity to outdo himself. His highly developed skillset, ability to complete intricately-detailed models, and depth of knowledge regarding the materials and techniques he utilizes in his process makes him a favorite model tech amongst clients.
Today, his continuing passion for crafting exceptional restorations and drive to continue learning is fueled by the changes he sees in his client’s patients. Seeing a patient transform into a happy smiling person who is living a healthier and more complete life all while being confident in their new smile continues to encourage him to be better every day.
